I cannot say enough good things about Sky Blue Tours in Washington DC! Our guide was as friendly as could be and SO knowledgeable! The van was comfortable; our driver picked us up at our hotel, and was waiting for us after every stop. We were never rushed. I definitely plan on using Sky Blue Tours on our next trip to Washington. Most heartily recommend!

Sky Blue Tours came recommended to us and we had the same great experience as our friends had had previously.
My husband and I traveled with our 10 year old daughter who saw the capital for the first time. We all had a great experience. What made our trip a bit tricky in terms of visiting sights was that we visited D.C. during the Cherry Blossom festival. One of the busiest times in D.C. from a tourist point of view.
The fact that the bus picks you up and drops you off at your hotel is very convenient. The fact that tickets for the Washington Monument (and others) are included is priceless as it saves time in so many ways. Abdul, our tour guide, had a keen understanding of how long it would take us to visit each sight and he was perfectly reliable to pick us up exactly when he said exactly where he said. As a result we saw all the things we wanted to see in the time frame expected. If we asked we received relevant information - if we didn't we were not showered with unwanted talk.
We highly recommend Sky Blue Tours.

I had to do a bit of searching to find D.C. tour companies that came with ticketed access to some of the sights, fortunately I finally found Sky Blue's site on my internet search.
My wife and I hadn't been to D.C. in over a decade and wanted to take our 7th grade son to experience many of the things that we had in the past. We were staying a couple of hours outside D.C. and allotted 3 days for trips into the capitol for sightseeing. On the first day we experienced that not all was as open and accessible as it had been in the past and that if we wanted to go up into the Washington Monument we'd have to have tickets. Leaving where we were staying early enough to get in line and get them in the morning wasn't an option and so we searched until we found Sky Blue.
They took us to several of the most prominent monuments, had tickets for us to access the Washington Monument and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, even would pick you up and drop you off at your hotel if you were in the D.C. metro area.
The only drawback was that we might have liked to linger a bit longer a a couple of the locations a little longer than we were alloted, but we had allocated times to be at certain locations for the tickets to those attractions - and there's only so many hours in a day.

Absolutely wonderful!! I wonder why hasn't anyone written a review about these guys.
Our tour guide was Abdul who made sure we had a good time and could make the most of our trip to dc.We covered everything that was mentioned in the flyer.
So if anyone is in dc for a short time and wants to see the city in a day..sky blue tours are the people to call.
They even have tickets o the Washington monument and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing which is pretty neat. So if one wants to avoid long lines early morning to get tickets to these places call them. You won't be disappointed. And don't forget to ask for Abdul. He's a great guide!

Our tour guide was Abdul. Don't worry his English is perfect. His knowledge of history surpassed those in some of the various museums. The guy knows his stuff.

Our trip was very short but absolutely amazing. We contacted Sky Blue Tours just by picking up the brochure and we were sure glad we went with them. Make sure you ask for Abdul...he is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. He was always on time knew the ins and outs of DC. There were facts he knew that I'm not sure others would even think of. The price included tickets to the Wash. Monument and Bureau of Engraving and Priniting. It was a fantastic trip thanks to Sky Blue and Adbul.
